    Punjabi music is mostly upbeat. Folk music is the traditional music of Punjab which is produced using the traditional musical instruments like tumbi, algoze, dhad, sarangi, chimta and more. There is a wide range of folk songs for every occasion from birth to death including marriage, festivals, fairs and religious ceremonies. Most punjabi music is made to be danced with.

In Punjab, people speaks Punjabi. Some people  who are immigrants moved from different state of India they speak Hindi. Hindi is first language in India. Punjabi is written in two different scripts, called Gurmukhī and Shahmukhī. Punjabi is the main language spoken by the Sikhs. There are many different types of accents that you can speak Punjabi.

The traditional dress for Punjabi men is the Punjabi Kurta. Men wear kurta Pajama  on every occasion, marriages, parties or religious festivals. 

The traditional dress for women is the Punjabi Salwar Suit. The Patiala salwar is also very popular. same as mens, womens also wear traditional dresses on every occasion. 
Punjabi cloths are very bright and attractive. people from different countries love them.

food

 Distinctively Punjabi cuisine is known for its rich, buttery flavours (makhan) along with the extensive vegetarian and meat dishes. Main dish is makhan Sarron da saag and makki di roti. Ganne da raas(sugarcane juice) normally people drink it, in summer because it keeps body temperature cool. Gol gappe are spectacular it is breath taking. Aloo da pratha are mashed up potatoes inside of a tortilla. There is no place to get good food other than Punjab.  
 
 For desert Jalebi is Punjab's most popular desert without it everything is simple. It is like light without a source, every occasion is incomplete.
